Conevrsation with rita elhajj

For the last contribution of the editorial cycle dedicated to "Archives, Narratives and Collective Practices", artist rita elhajj is invited to discuss her collective research conducted around "hiiwaa". Developed during her residency at Triangle-Astérides in 2022, this language invented with the artist and editor Lucas Cantori is written, but also spoken orally and through gestures. In this interview, Rita Hajj discusses her recently published book, Étranges nébuleuses (Éditions Clinamen, 2022), and the issues raised by langages and systems that frame them, as well as the possibilities offered by new narratives.
