Des étoiles, Maurane-Amel Arbouz

To round off BRUISE magazine's second cycle on "Anti-Psychophobia and Anti-Validism: Creation, Fights, and Forms of Solidarity.", artist Maurane-Amel Arbouz presented during May "Des étoiles", her latest film shot during her residency at Triangle-Astérides in 2022. This temporary screening is complemented by the release of an excerpt from the artist's diary starting in September.

About the movie: 

Two characters are living out the final moments of their love affair.  One sees life as rosy and the other finds no meaning in it any more. Sitting on stone steps, standing on a cliff, lying on a white pebble beach, they no longer understand each other. Until a mysterious red star drives a wedge between them.
